About city
Le Moule breathes with a distinct Caribbean rhythm, blending the quiet charm of a historic waterfront town with the vibrant energy of Guadeloupean island life. Its main square, the Place du Général de Gaulle, serves as a lively hub where locals gather under the shade of royal palms to enjoy the warm, humid air and watch the world go by. Wanderers will find themselves drawn to the colorful houses lining the Rue du Moulin, each telling a story of resilience and tradition in this coastal community. The culinary scene invites visitors to savor authentic Creole dishes served at family-run eateries, where the scent of fresh spices and fried plantains fills every street corner. Beyond the dining, the daily cadence of fishing boats returning to port offers a glimpse into a lifestyle deeply connected to the sea and the surrounding lush landscapes. Whether you are exploring the nearby beaches or simply sitting in a café observing the sunset paint the sky, Le Moule offers an authentic, unhurried escape from the crowds. It is a place where the spirit of the island feels most genuine, inviting you to linger and discover the soulful heart of Guadeloupe.
