About city
Step off the ferry into Somerset, Bermuda, and you will find a hidden village where the rhythm of life is dictated by the gentle tide and the whisper of the wind. This small haven of roughly one thousand residents clings to the rocky shoreline, offering a quiet escape from the bustling tourist hubs while maintaining a distinct colonial charm. The streets are lined with historic stone cottages painted in soft pastels, their weathered textures telling stories of centuries past against the backdrop of dramatic cliffs. Locals gather in cozy pubs to share tales over fresh fish and rum, creating an atmosphere of warm, unpretentious hospitality that feels like coming home. Visitors often wander through the narrow lanes to discover hidden gardens bursting with tropical blooms or simply watch the waves crash against the granite below. It is a place where time seems to slow down, inviting travelers to sit by the harbor and feel the unique blend of rugged beauty and serene community spirit.
