These eSIM Purchase Terms (“Terms”) are supplemental to the VIDI Terms of Service and apply to purchases of eSIMs, digital SIM profiles, mobile data packages, data plans, and related digital services through VIDI (“VIDI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including websites, applications, subdomains, APIs, mobile applications, and related services operated under the VIDI brand, including but not limited to *.vidi.one (collectively, the “Platform”).
By purchasing an eSIM product or using guest checkout for an eSIM order, users acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
1. Refunds When the Original Payment Method Cannot Be Credited
The user understands and agrees that a refund to the original payment method may be impossible where VIDI or the service provider cannot issue, activate, deliver, or otherwise provide the eSIM and also cannot return funds to the client through the original payment method.
In that case, the amount available for refund, less payment system commissions, bank fees, payment processor fees, card scheme fees, and other mandatory transaction fees, may be credited to the user's virtual balance on the Platform.
Funds credited to the virtual balance may later be used by the user to purchase any other product or service available on the Platform, provided that such payment method is supported for the relevant product or service.
2. Payment Confirmation and Use of Own Payment Instruments
By making a purchase, the user confirms and undertakes, upon request by VIDI, a payment system, bank, card issuer, acquiring bank, provider, or competent authority, to confirm that the payment was made by the user using the user's own card, account, or other payment instrument, or a payment instrument that the user was duly authorised by the owner to use.
The user agrees to use only the user's own payment instruments, bank accounts, cards, wallets, virtual cards, and payment credentials, or payment instruments that the user is legally authorised to use.
3. Chargebacks and Forced Refunds
In the event of a chargeback, payment dispute, forced refund, reversal, retrieval request, fraud claim, or any other payment dispute procedure, the user agrees to reimburse VIDI for all costs, commissions, penalties, operational costs, provider costs, bank fees, payment processor fees, and other losses incurred by VIDI in connection with such chargeback, dispute, or forced refund.
This obligation applies where the dispute is connected with the user's breach of these terms, unlawful or unauthorised use of a payment instrument, inaccurate statements by the user, refusal to confirm the legality of the payment, or other user actions that caused VIDI to incur costs.
