These API Terms (“Terms”) apply to all APIs, developer services, SDKs, integrations, authentication systems, automation interfaces, and related developer tools operated under the VIDI brand, including but not limited to *.vidi.one (collectively, the “API Services”).

perform denial-of-service attacks;

perform credential stuffing;
•
automate unauthorized requests;
•
mirror Platform data;
•
create competing services using API data;
•
extract user data without authorization;
•
perform mass automated collection;
•
bypass authentication systems;
•
perform unauthorized AI training;
•
create embeddings from API data;
•
build vector databases using Platform data;
•
resell unauthorized API access;
•
share credentials without authorization.
Any abusive, excessive, suspicious, automated, fraudulent, or unauthorized usage may result in immediate enforcement actions.
5. Rate Limits & Operational Restrictions
VIDI may apply:
•
rate limits;
•
request quotas;
•
bandwidth limitations;
•
authentication restrictions;
•
concurrency limitations;
•
endpoint restrictions;
•
geographic restrictions;
•
usage caps.
Rate limits and operational restrictions may change at any time without notice.
VIDI does not guarantee:
•
uninterrupted availability;
•
uptime;
•
compatibility;
•
backwards compatibility;
•
permanent endpoint availability;
•
error-free operation;
•
uninterrupted integrations.
6. Security Requirements
API users are responsible for:
•
securing API credentials;
•
securing authentication tokens;
•
preventing unauthorized access;
•
protecting connected systems;
•
monitoring integrations;
•
maintaining operational security;
•
implementing appropriate safeguards.
Users must immediately report:
•
compromised credentials;
•
suspected breaches;
•
unauthorized access;
•
suspicious API activity.
VIDI may suspend access where security risks are detected.
7. Monitoring & Enforcement
VIDI may monitor:
•
API usage;
•
traffic patterns;
•
authentication activity;
•
automation systems;
•
abuse indicators;
•
suspicious behavior;
•
operational anomalies;
•
fraud indicators.
VIDI reserves the right to:
•
throttle traffic;
•
suspend API access;
•
revoke credentials;
•
restrict endpoints;
•
block IP addresses;
•
terminate integrations;
•
preserve logs and evidence;
•
report abusive activity.
Enforcement actions may occur automatically or manually.
8. Third-Party Integrations
API users remain solely responsible for:
•
third-party applications;
•
connected systems;
•
external integrations;
•
downstream usage;
•
user permissions;
•
compliance obligations.
VIDI does not guarantee compatibility with:
•
third-party software;
•
external APIs;
•
third-party SDKs;
•
external infrastructure;
•
external authentication systems.
Third-party integrations may operate under separate terms and policies.
9. Intellectual Property & Data Usage
All Platform content, APIs, structures, schemas, metadata, operational systems, rankings, recommendation systems, and related materials remain the property of VIDI or applicable rights holders.
API access does not grant:

ownership rights;
•
redistribution rights;
•
resale rights;
•
sublicensing rights;
•
rights to create derivative datasets;
•
rights to train AI systems.
Users may not use API data for:
•
AI model training;
•
dataset harvesting;
•
semantic extraction;
•
machine learning ingestion;
•
vectorization;
•
automated replication.
10. Compliance & International Restrictions
Users are responsible for complying with:
•
local laws;
•
sanctions regulations;
•
export controls;
•
cybersecurity regulations;
•
privacy laws;
•
financial regulations;
•
anti-abuse requirements.
VIDI reserves the right to restrict access based on:
•
jurisdiction;

sanctions obligations;

11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VIDI shall not be liable for:

API downtime;

interrupted integrations;

data inconsistencies;
•
compatibility issues;
•
integration failures;

third-party system failures;

automated enforcement actions.
Users assume all risks associated with API integrations and automation systems.

Continued use of the API Services constitutes acceptance of updated versions.
13. Language
In the event of inconsistencies between translated versions of these Terms, the English-language version shall control unless otherwise required by applicable law.
